The lady behind the movement
Who I Am
Hi, I’m Alycia. Most people (don’t) call me Ace. But they can.
I’m not your typical human being, I don’t subscribe to the ever-changing standard. I love the parts of myself the world might call “weird, different, interesting” so I moved back to my hometown so I could be exactly that without anyone batting an eye.(If you know NYC, ya understand. Ya mean?)
Any and everyone in my company gets full freedom to be themselves: quirks and all. Give me all that multidimensional, complex layered self and spunk. I think the world asks people to sand down their personality to fit somewhere. I’d rather trigger something within them to bring it back.
I’ve had the chance to work and live across a lot of different environments, and it’s taught me to genuinely appreciate how diverse people, experiences, and adventures can be. It’s delicious.
Physically, I’m all over the place in the best way:
I love traveling. As that one guy said, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” When in Spain, I sit at a café for hours (fighting the American urge to get busy). In Morocco, I prayed to all the Allah as I dared to cross a road. In Jamaica, I take part in plant culture. I want to learn everything: the culture, the food, the people, and why they are the way they are. Every nuance exist for a reason. I love finding out.
Mobility matters to me because it’s how every body gets to live its own diverse, complex, beautiful life. Fully.
I’ve dedicated my life to the experience of living it.
