Quick Note on the Bridgerton Series

Indeed, I know I’m quite tardy to the promenade.

Alas I am here,

Pros:

1. Casting 11/10 throughly impressive. Micro-emotions, ugh delicious.
2. Makeup 10/10 From Dalphne to ..Didi(?) aka Edwina’s older sister. DID THE DAMN THING
3. Wardrobe 11/10 Lady Agatha Danbury LORDT EVERY SCENE.
4. Lady Agatha Danbury. Full stop.

Concerns:

1. Lighting shifts in scenes. You can see the Auto-focus switch, especially when the actors are on the lawn or have a bright window in the background. I chuckle every time.

(side note, typing out CONcerns rather than just ‘cons’ takes away that negative connotation it carries. Makes it moreso a neutrally based agitation. Les a disturbance even. Side Side note: agitation tends to have an anger based negative connotation as well…. but its literally just a disturbance. )

I’m only mid season 2 so I’ll bid my adou , or whatever 02/28/2026

Alright it’s 00:06 and I just finished season 2, wanted to start season 3 since Colin was looking delicious, but alas, I got shit to do in the morn.

Anyways, I love a man who yearns, and Anthony was practically(possibly literally) on his knees for Kate. It was glorious.

I suppose they already had their wedding scene, in the earlier episodes.. so I’m satisfied enough on how they wrapped it up. Fireworks and playful banter. I see why the show is rated well.

Also, shout out to the camera team, UGHHH the framing of shots is *chef kiss* 11/10 Especially their use of mirrors, goodness me.
